Principle
Mobiclean R basic round filter system is a passive regeneration system.

As with all Hug filter systems, mobiclean R basic uses an enclosed, catalytic coated substrate. Only with this kind of enclosed filter system an efficiency of soot reduction up to 99% can be achieved. The substrate’s base material consists of silicon carbide.

Because of the catalytic coating, regeneration is possible at only 280 celsius depending on the amount of soot production.

Applications
The mobiclean R basic is recommended for engines that have a heavy work load. High exhaust temperatures guarantee the proper function of the filter system.
