About us

Hug Filtersystems is located in Elsau, near Winterthur, Switzerland. Hug Engineering is a subsidiary of the Hug Group, Switzerland which has been in the exhaust after treatment business for over 25 years.

The core competence of Hug Filtersystems is the distribution and support of diesel particulate filters for on- and off road engines up to 650 kW.

All relevant filter components, including substrate, catalyst; coating and housing are developed and produced in-house in Switzerland. This again facilitates fast and competitive customization for individual client needs.

Our exhaust after treatment systems are specifically developed and tested for applications on construction machines, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, trucks, buses, motor homes, locomotives and small ships.

Hug Filtersystems AG is active in all major markets in Europe and in the United States.
